I am finally back into painting, I got re-inspired after Ross one of my friends convinced me after three or four phone calls to drive to Cowra to see the SAAA fly-in, he was running the performance metals stand and having a great time talking with all the potential customers. I have to admit I really enjoyed it, lots of beautiful planes, RV's and Jabiru's where competing for most popular aircraft yet again, however I don't think I want to do the drive again, 4 hours each way is a little too much for a 1 day trip. It was also really good to catch up with a few people that I had not seen for a while and find out what they had been up to. This morning I got up early and applied the last of the finishing touches to the right wing, it’s far from perfect, but at present its the best I can do. I finished off by applying the black vinyl pin stripe to separate the yellow and white, it really seems to add the finishing touch. The pin stripe is a job in itself, because its really flexible, getting it to lay strait is really tough, but then if it wasn't I guess getting it to curve would be impossible
