Brief Description:  Right wing bottom in etch primer

After flying yesterday, Anne-Marie and I set-up the spray booth and moved the right wing into position for spray painting. I was hoping that both wings would fit, but not a chance, they are just too big. I then prepared the bottom wing surface by giving it a good scuff with 320 grit wet and dry, before wiping down with Prepsol and applying a coat of etch primer. Its going to be hard to keep a wet edge when painting because of the size of the surface and my limited reach, I can only reach to the middle of the wing before needing to change sides, as you can see in image 2, this results in a definite line where the two paint surfaces have been applied. I’ll need to work on my technique to make sure that this does not happen with the top coat, although it should not be as much of an issue because of the different drying times, between the etch primer and top coat.
