Brief Description:  Poor etch primer adheasion

Last Wednesday night, I spent 3 hours rubbing back / removing the etch primer that had peeled away when I removed the 3M tape, it looks much worse now that I have rubbed it back, I guess I should have taken some before and after shots. I remember when I sprayed this section that it went on thick and blotchy and now in hindsight I should have fixed it then rather than assuming it would be OK. The other side of the fuselage where I thinned the primer down properly and gave the fuselage a thin even coat did not demonstrate any of these problems. What can I say, lack of / no experience means you put in lots more effort learning how to achieve a good result. After that epic sanding session I was granted the worst bought of the Flu I have had in ages, along with a 4-day headache that is just leaving me now. My challenge will be to respray these sections and try and make it look like nothing went wrong....stay tuned for either smiles or a bought of depression.
