Brief Description:  Heat muff and other stuff

Work has been so busy over the last week that I have not had a chance to do anything on the plane at all, but I grabed the opportunity this afternoon to again make some progress. I installed the carb heat muff to ensure that it was going to fit based on the location of my exhaust stub. As you can see in the first image it worked out well, more by luck than careful planning. I also filled and sanded back all the counter sunk rivets that hold the cowl hinges in place. In addition I also took the opportunity to add another coat of yellow to the forward canopy arm covers. Once these are properly dry, I will re-assemble the canopy and attach it to the fuselage and move it out of the garage to check that it will not contact the forward turtle deck when the canopy is in the fully open position.
