Brief Description:  Throttle controls

I spent the whole of yesterday afternoon evening remaking the dual throttle arms to improve the amount of throw that I had, I was only achieving about 50mm of travel on the throttle controls in the cockpit and I thought that this was probably going to be much too sensitive. Test installation number two was better but still not good enough. I needed to drop the entire torque tube another 20mm to all me to increase the length of the arms that the two throttle control cables are connected too...sigh, back to the garage again this morning to make up a whole bunch if new components. This time I achieved what I hope will be a happy medium between it be too sensitive and not sensitive enough, I now have about 75mm of travel. After getting back from flying yesterday, Clive also told me about some cable glands that he had found at BIAS boating, these provide a great way to clamp the outer cable sheath and also provide a good seal to the firewall.
