Brief Description:  Oil cooler

I spent lots of time working out how much the oil cooler needed to be dropped in height to sit inside the oil cooler inlet duct, after fitting the cowl originally only half of the oil cooler was sitting inside the duct, so I took an initial guess based on the slight mark left by the cowl on the oil cooler, and made some brackets to drop the oil cooler down by 40mm, this ended up being to much so I then went through a process of clamping testing the cowl fit, re-clamping and testing the cowl fit, which of course means that the cowl goes on and off lots of times (very frustrating). I finally arrived at approximately 30mm, which is the result you can see in the photos below. Also to be able to place the cowl in this position, the bottom mounting rails of the cooler need to be removed and 20mm of the inlet duct lip needs to be trimmed off, there is still more trimming required as its all very close down there. I'll post some photo's tomorrow of the brackets that I made up along with photo's of how the oil cooler looks after the bottom brackets have been removed.
