Brief Description: Installed GPS cradle and Battery
I finally got back from Malaysia for work after two weeks and had a relaxing Saturday before tackling the installation of my Garmen GPS cradle, battery and oil collection bottle. I started by making a cardboard template for the GPS cradle and then transferred this to the dash. I then cut the hole insitu as I did not want to remove all the instruments again. It was a little awkward, but I took my time. 40 degrees Celsius in the garage to day, but a pedestal fan helped to keep me cool. Once the GPS cradle was installed I fitted the oil collector bottle followed by the battery, both installed without any hassle. I am just waiting for my radio to arrive, it should be here in about 1 week and then I can fill my last hole. In the mean time, I still have a lot of wiring to complete.
