Brief Description: Inspection of right wing, before closing wing skin
I asked Keith Rule our club president if he would be able to do an inspection before I closed the right wing. I got three for the price of one and some very nice comments about build quality and also some good suggestions about using air line connectors for the Pitot and static lines. Keith also suggested that I install a large washer under the aileron bell crank in each wing. The suggestion was that the washer should be bigger then the knuckle in the push rod connector so that if the knuckle failed it could not allow the push rod to fall through and disconnect itself. I guess in the end its cheap insurance.
