Brief Description: Pulling the top nose skin into place and back dril
With the wing flipped over I thought that there was no reason I could not add the ratchet straps and slowly pull the skin down. I decided that I would forget about the lengths of timber along the nose skin and just use the 4 ratchet straps. It worked out being a lot easier then stuffing around trying to position timber beams etc. I made sure that each strap was positioned over the end of a nose rib so that when I pulled the skin down it was going to transfer the force of the strap onto the underlying rib. Piece of cake, when I think of the effort we put into pulling the first skin down with three of us positioning bits of timber etc.
