Brief Description: Glassing the rear seat consoles
More work today on the rear consoles. I finally got them fitted and to shape.Then I needed to cut away an area for the seat belts to exit. Pic 1 has them in the raw.
Pic 2 is after micro and two plys of BID. There will be a few very small air gaps as seems to be the way with closed cell foam and BID. I think if I spent more time getting the surfaces really smooth or hard shelled them I'd get a more perfect layup. That would be an extra couple of days and frankly, these are the side consols they will be strong and safe and you will never see what I'm talking about because I will paint them hahhha.
