Over a couple of days or cure cycles I've edged out the tubes and inner wire so that they line up perfectly. I've routed down a little where needed to reduce the amount of bending the wire has to do. A bit of sanding as usual was needed to get the tubes to sit tightly in the grooves.
The micro I've used is really dry to reduce weight. I thought about using foam instead and then micro but really this is stronger and the amount of fiddling would be out of control for very little gain. If I have to spend extra time I like to see something for it.
Finally everything was lined up and ready to see if it was all good after the cure...
