Brief Description:  MAP restrictor fitting installed, throttle linkage

MAP restrictor fitting installed, throttle linkage finalized - added a few more washers as spacers here and there and used a larger washer to avoid bearing failure and also a clevis type bolt. Belt and suspenders. Alternator spaced aft by 1/32". Saw other postings and blogs on this that the B&C 60 amp alternator is a bit forward. For good belt life, I filed the aft face of the pivot bushing. Then added a thin AN960-5 washer (1/32") and this made for better spacing. Confirmed this directly with B&C and they apologized for this and will redo the next batch in the spring, but no need to wait for a quick 30 minute fix for that. Also installed (copying Matt B's site) tinnerman washers and steel cherry pop rivets into 1/8 drilled holes on the alternator bracket (long) arm. This allows a good spot to do the safety wire at the top and bottom. Good idea. I never liked this on my -8 and that was a great solution. Nice and tidy. Exhaust removed, sanded for EZ-Heater (model 442) to ensure good bond for sump heater 3M VHB tape. Reinstalled exxhaust for good.
