The RV6 plans are no where near as precise as newer models and DWG 34 Sec C-C showed three AN4 bolts on the bottom of the Vertical Stabilizer Spar being inserted from the Aft forward so thats what I did. Frankly, threading washers and nuts from inside there was a real arm twister but it was doable. Later, I saw a different view drawing and it showed bolt insertion from the inside of fuselage side. Go figure. I remember old hangar discussion about bolts facing rear, yada yada yada. I recall seeing RV7 plans where bolts face both directions in many places, even some main spar bolts. So, to either win an argument, or to satisfy my curiosity, I emailed VANS once again. Regardless, I did reverse the 6 bolts holding the VS rear spar rather than wait for VANS answer. I'll add their answer here when it arrives.
