Brief Description:  Fitting elevators to Horizontal Stabilizer

Dug out the elevators, gave them a bath and began the fitting process starting with the right elevator. The elevator horns were previously drilled for the upper mounting hole so it was a matter of making sure everything would fit and function properly. It doesn't. The elevator horn rubs against the rear deck opening. A Dremel cutoff wheel has an arc that does not get me to where I need to trim so I used a Dremel cutting rasp to remove the obstructing deck and a Vixen file to finish the cut line. Then I did the same to the other side of the deck opening for the left elevator. I removed about 1/8 inch each side.
The right elevator stops up at 19 degrees and down at 25 degrees. Some metal removal on the up stop is necessary to give me between 25 and 30 degrees up, per plans.
The left elevator is the same.
