With the added thickness of the .250 spacer plate, I needed AN470 AD4-9s to rivet all the pieces together. Then I bolted on the upper section of the steel reinforcement plates. A couple of the rivet head spacer holes in the steel parts needed enlarging to account for the actual shop heads being too close clearance. No big deal. Finished mounting the VS and bolted the forward spar attach points. All AN3s were torqued to 33 in lbs (25 actual plus 8 for nut resistance while tightening).
Normal pattern for holes would be 4-3-4. 4 bolt holes added for steel reinforcement.
Mounted onto horizontal stabilizer with 4 more bolts.
