Brief Description:  Install Tosten Grips 6

This loctite 5 minute epoxy has a yellow tint when cured. The applicator tube was perfect. No hand mixing, no loading a syringe with fabricated applicator tube. Just depress the plungers and there are twists inside the applicator tube that automatically mix it. For this female end, I had it attached to the male end and pushed it into the tube until the stick clicked in place. Then emptied this applicator from the other end. I can say there is about 1 1/4 inches of epoxy in by using most of the epoxy. Did I say it generates heat? Oh yea. While holding the stick upside down and upright for 5 minutes, the tube became very hot. Uncomfortably hot but not enough to let go. To ensure I could separate the removable stick, I taped blue tape over the removable stick and used an exacto knife to cut out the DB9 outline so the pins could connect to the sockets. I liberally applied vaseline to the taped surface, trimmed the blue tape off the sides of the stick and added very slight dam of vaseline around the circumference of the blue tape. After 1 hour, I easily separated the stick. Used the exacto knife I scraped leftover blue tape into a wad and stabbed and removed it. A ground and wire continuity check of every pin and stick switch was successful. Done.
