Brief Description:  Install Tosten Grips 7

The wiring out of the Tosten grips is too short to utilize. On the Pilot stick, I snipped all the wires starting 2 1/2 inches below the Tosten grip metal. 9 male DSub pins were crimped. Each pin was staggered about 1/2 inch away from adjacent one to avoid a glob that would not pull through the Tosten bushing. Heatshrink covered each splice and then I shrank a larger piece over all that. Added more heatshrink to protect the wires all the way down to where it gets folded over the stick exit at the bottom. Lucky for me I had a bunch of surplus Dynon network 22awg wires with female DSubs on one end. I color-matched as close as possible. I spent a LONG time trying different wire routes and finally chose the following. Out the bottom of each stick, folded back onto the stick, Zip tied to stick about 3 inches high. The bundle then curves rearward, then curves to the Stick Control Tube. That's a stationary tube between the two sticks but will rotate as you move the stick forward and back. Clamped to bottom of that control tube towards the next inboard bay of the co pilot side. More later.

Left/Right motion moves the curve slightly. Its high towards rotation point so not much movement. :):)
