Brief Description:  Install Tosten Grips 5

The Lockite expoxy includes some long access tubes with spiral mixing apparatus in them. You just push the plunger and the two sections automatically blend into one and are mixed properly by the time the stuff exits the tubes. I'll use that for the female DB9 in the base unit. For the removable stick I used the JB Weld 5 minute epoxy. You mix that stuff together with a sticfk and glob it on. I had the female and male DB9s attached but taped the female one so I could get it apart later. Using both will position the male DB9 exactly where it needs to be. There is enough space to glob epoxy into some of the empty space to start to hold the DB9 in position. After that sets up (about 1 hour), you can remove the female DB9 and then fill in the remaining space with 2nd application of epoxy. I made a tiny aluminum foil dam to bridge an epoxy hole before I put the 2nd application in. Otherwise it would run down the inside of the stick. Its permanently attached inside now. When it sets up you can clean up the spill over off the outside of the stick with some acetone. Next up is the female DB9 epoxy.

2nd application is setting up. Nice job. Must check wires for proper operation before stuff hardens.
