Brief Description:  Sand and Paint Canopy Frame

There is still 2 part epoxy white primer showing on the canopy frame. Its time to make it hammered gray like the rest. Also, I removed an approximate 2 to 2 1/2 inch wide strip of primer in front of the canopy forward line. I roughed that area up with #60 grit paper to prepare for the fiberglass glare shield fairing I will make. Next up is taping the inside front end of the canopy to give me about an inch of exposed canopy edge to prepare and paint black. That will cover the visible fiberglass work in front of it, even though I will have the epoxy dyed black too. I cannot believe how much work is involved with every aspect of the canopy and canopy frame. Probably its the most complex of all my tasks so far. I live with it, knowing if every day I accomplish a task, one less thing remains to complete this.
