CoPilot side. Same drill. Drill 2 holes. Flatten the bottom space between them with a file. Dremel cut the vertical lines. File all. Used a ball peen hammer to depress the forward metal around the forward hole to allow the canopy to come out over the skin with no stress. Final file the upper edge of the canopy deck skin. Trim canopy some more so it fits in the side rail recess perfectly. Today I made 5 more cuts on the canopy. Its very soon ready for the BIG cut. As others point out, all this trimming was a non event as long as you use the right tools and take your time. The canopy fits snugly along the roll bar sides and curve. The top has a 3/16 gap for about one foot. I think I read that was acceptable and would lay down after the big cut.

Lightly pound down the forward located skin to let the canopy come out on top of it.
