Brief Description:  Canopy Frame 17 - Prime all frame parts

Lot of time preparing the frame for painting. Trimmed the canopy glare shield for a 2 inch overhang in front of the instrument panel. Dressed the edge with Vixen file and left some curved skin attached until I see how the canopy will cross the glare shield later. That is when I will finish trimming the glare shield. Riveted on the .025 angle to the subpanel which will hold weather stripping that seals the canopy front when closed. Put some sealant between it and the sub panel to block any dripping water between the two. Primed that assembly, as well as touched up priming the forward fuselage ribs. Ready to paint the canopy frame hammered grey Rustoleum then rivet the canopy frame and skin together, then rivet the three frame stiffener pieces in place so I can proceed to fit the clear canopy top. Oh boy.
