Brief Description:  Parking Brake Mounting Location

The prepunched firewall location in front of pilots rudder pedals would not work for the parking brake. The activation lever, when operated, moved too close to the rudder pedals if you had right or left rudder in play. After just sliding it around, I found the right location and it will work great there. Its above the pedals. It can use straight nipples below it to connect both lines before they disappear under the center tunnel cover. On top, the input side, I can use a 90 for the left brake line and a straight nipple for the right brakeline. Or, I can use two straights for the both lines. I fabbed a lever stop from .125 plate (actually, a spare rudder pedal). The cable being pushed in for normal operations will use the instrument panel stop point. The cable has a push button activation so there's no cable creep. Pulling the cable out will hit the stop at the parking brake mounting. Had to fiddle with the angle to get the right position for fully closed valve. Cardboard came in handy for that. This was another of those things that was bothering me how to accomplish it. All worked out in the end.
