Brief Description:  Fit the center tunnel and attach to firewall

I bent the heat diffuser tabs and then positioned and marked the vertical portion of the tunnel cover to attach to the recessed firewall. Also, there is an access panel that is used to get to a firewall mounted electric fuel pump, but I'm not using that Facet pump. I still installed the access plate, including a grommet where the throttle will pass through on the way to the engine. I wonder if the red cube can mount there? When I fitted the cover to the recessed firewall, there was a small gap between the two on each side. I will consider it an extra heat outlet. You can't pull the cover upwards to eliminate the gap or it starts sloping down at the floor. Just the way it is, I guess. Adapting an RV6 to RV7 isn't clean. The two stiffeners on the floor that fit inside the tunnel cover on an RV7, won't fit inside on the RV6. One goes inside and one goes outside. No big deal, just different. Too soon to paint it gray. Left in primed state while I cut it up some more for the Andair fuel pump and filter and fuel lines, etc.

The cover will overlap the pilot longeron and go inside the copilot longeron. RV6 floor is not RV7.

There is a gap in the heater box side so it will be another outlet.
