As this installation is an RV7A Firewall Fwd, I also adapted the engine controls mounting to get away from the vertical RV6 mounting. Don't know why it took so long to fix the position of the controls. I kept flip flopping on where it should mount. Finally chose the location that more or less centers the prop control under the center stack with the throttle left by 2.75 inches and the mixture right by 2.75 inches and the cabin heat way right by 2 inches. Installed the nut plates and mounted it. Next will be the sub panel support brace F 746 Fwd.
Now that its ready, I will curve and trim it up, then paint hammered gray.
