Brief Description:  Nutplates, Seat Hinges, and more floor work

It will take about 100 K1000-08 nutplates to make the seat floors removable. I spent most of the day marking, drilling, dimpling or countersinking for installing floor nut plates. Drilled the co-pilot floor pan, drilled for nutplates, and then started dimpling the center floor rib for nutplates. and reinstalled to position seats. Have to order 200 more nutplates and screws to replenish the supply. Positioned the floor seat hinge halves (6) to the correct positions on the floor pans. For the 6 they start 8 inches forward from the rear of the seat floor pan and get spaced 1 1/2 inches apart from each other moving forward. The inner-most ends of the hinges get located at 19 inches from the fuselage sidewall. That leaves 4 1/2 inches inbetween the pilot and copilot seat hinge ends. Started drilling the hinges to the floor pans. Need to be sure the seat backs clear the F657 gussets You can tweak the seat locations to get the clearance. I have noticed the instructions and dimensions on the plan drawings aren't always appropriate. Maybe thats what the little squiggly line means underneath certain measurements on the drawings. Best to fit assemblies together before relying on plan measurements.

Instead of fretting over exact measurements, just fit the seats correctly, mark, and drill the hinges.
