Brief Description: Test painting with primer...Acryo-Glo...FFA Blue
Thought I would test paint on this piece of elevator scrap to gain some insight on technique and paint gun settings. Will then test spray the selected color....It is FFA Blue, and called Acryo-glo. A product sold by Shermann-Williams. After completing the test spraying...I have noted many problems....mostly surface preparation issues....fine tuning of spray gun...better exhaust system , better lighting etc. In fact, I can see the real need for an inclosed breathing system, as being critical to survival of this task. Not sure about the color either???? Ain't exactly "lighting my fire".
This is a big moment for me, as I know very little about painting primer on external surfaces.
I have noticed SEVERAL quality control issues with this test painting...
Problems with insufficient surface preparation.....YUKKK!!!
