Brief Description:  Drilled Canopy Latches

Spent about 30 minutes trying to put various clamps on the canopy latch and frame without success. Decided to use the glue gun to temporarily hold the latches for fit. Worked very well. Took off and adjusted a few times to get the hight and offset correct. Pre-drilled the latch holes with a #40 in the drill press and hot glued to hold in place while I drilled the pilot holoes.

I will not enlarge the holes until I get my replacement canopy in case the fit is not the same. If I need to move up or down the holes can be adjusted easily before drilling out to hold the AN3 bolt.

The canopy closes fine with a small pop, which is the hook engaging the latch roller bar. Clearance is perfect, 1/8" for the rubber materials when they are installed.
