Brief Description: Finishing Canopy Skirts and Cracked Canopy
Finished the left and right side canopy skirts. In the process of adjusting the canopy frame on the right side I heard a crack and then saw a 3 inch long crack in the canopy. Decided to build on and use the canopy as a template until I can get a replacement. Checking a place in Ohio that makes the canopies for Vans. Hoping to give them a call on Monday. I am holding off riveting the canopy skirt and dimpling the skins for screws until I get the replacment. I opened up the holes to #30 so that I can use a 1/8" Plexiglass bit when drilling the side frames.
