Brief Description: FInish sanding and drilling bottom rudder fairing
Finished sanding the lower rudder fairing to line up exactly with the edge sheetmetal. Ran a black sharpie on the top of the edge of the rudder fairing. Put #60 sand paper in a long strip on top of my table top and rubbing back and forth until all of the black marker was rubbed off. This ensured that the fairing was perfectly smooth and straight. Drilled #30 holes and countersunk the fiberglass with a small dremel grinding stone at slow speed. No gaps and the fairing looks good. Last thing to do is to blind rivet the piece on. I will wait until I get my tail light ring I ordered last week.
