Put the final touches on adding epoxy to get the elevator tips feathered out. While I was doing this I added alluminum reinforcement strips to the tips so that when the fiberglass is machine countersunk the pop rivet will have a more substantial area to grab onto. Once this is hardened I will sand to final finish and put them away until final assembly some time from now. Got some #60 waterproof sandpaper from Home Depot which works well to bulk remove the extra epoxy. I will finish up with #220 grit sandpaper.
