Brief Description:  Fuel Flow Testing - Straight and Level

Calculations as follows:

160 HP Lycoming O-320-D2A
Lycoming BSFC = .51 LBS/HP
160 HP X .51 = 81.6 LBS/HR
81.6 LB/HR / 6 LBS GAL = 13.6 GPH
13.6 GPH X 125% = 17 GPH MAX FUEL BURN
17 GPH * 128 OZ/GAL = 2,176 OZ/HR
2,176 OZ/HR / 60 MIN = 36.2 OZ/MIN

Test was done with two configurations: Straight and Level and Max Climb (15%) Nose Up
Aircraft was leveled fore/aft and left right. Fuel collected was a bit less than 2 quarts for one minute. EFIS indicated 26.6 GPH which was very close to what was in the container. Calibration of the fuel totalizer is spot on.
