Mounted the electric elevator trim motor per plans and set the elevator trim tab in the neutral position and the motor in the mid-runout position. Measured rod lengths and tested max runout for up and down elevator trim. Maximum down deflection is 19.5 degrees. Maximum up deflection is 29 degrees. Could not find where the plans specify maximim deflection so I may try to even out each so that they are both relatively equal. I also need to bend the rod slightly as the maximum down deflection is very close to the aluminum skin.
