Brief Description: Adjusted Elevator up / down stops
Did a preliminary check on elevator stops as recommended in the plans. The plans call for the Up travel (trailing edge up) should be 25-30° and down travel (trailing edge down) should be 20-25°. I am within specs for the up travel which is almost 30 degrees. The down angle needs to be increased so I got my dremel drill out and cut out the stop. The down is now at 22 degrees from a rough cut perspective. The dremel leaves a rough edge so I will have to take off the vertical stabilizer and some other components to finish file the stop.
