Brief Description:  Nose Wheel bearing bushings and final installation

Earlier in the week I removed the front nose wheel and sent out for installing a builder modification to machine an internal bushing on the inside of the wheeel as a spacer to keep the tapered bearings at a set distance. This will allow the bearings to spin freely vs. the Van's standard installation where the tapered bearings are squeezed together with the fork and causes the wheel toexcessively bind.

Cleaned and repacked bearings and reinstalled the wheel on the front fork. Set breakout force with a small fishing scale per plans (22 lbs) and drilled and installed the cotter pin.

Wheel spins with minimal friction and very little side play. When I get to my taxi tests I will recheck wheel for excessive side play and adjust if necessary.
