Brief Description: Draft punch list for completion
Started putting together a final punch list for things that need to be completed in the Garage and things that will be completed at the airport. Below is the draft list:
1) Strobe switch reconfiguration - Rewire Strobe switch to ground strobes vs. being a source of power; reconfigure VP-X accordingly. 2) ELT - Test GPS source with LED and resistor tester to ensure signal is being received. 3) Stick Grip Wiring a. Install Control stick assembly and control sticks b. Functions; trim up/down; roll left/right; A/P disconnect; PTT; GTN frequency swap; Left button unassigned; right button unassigned. c. Interconnect Stick grips together with splice block; run wiring to avionics 4) Secure all avionics wiring bundles using adel clamps; include aft baggage compartment 5) Engine & Other Controls a. Throttle, mixture, carb heat – center panel b. Alt air - left side panel run tubing from aft of baggage to panel, drill hole through seatback bulkhead c. Emergency alternate air, cabin heat – determine panel location 6) Rivet front top skin 7) Wingtip wiring – test configure and stage for final assembly at hangar a. Bring up Wings from basement for final wiring b. Run 20 ga 3 conductor shielded for nav / strobe lights in each wingtip c. Run Coax for Nav to wingtip. Wing has coax installed. d. Pitot Heat – Wiring inside wing already. Needs to be run into fuselage (3 wires) e. Roll servo wiring – use Skyview 20 ft servo wiring kit. f. Fuel Sender Wiring g. Landing Light Wiring both wings. 8) Engine a. Finish running engine primer copper tubing b. Install fuel vent tubing for mechanical fuel pump c. Run blast tubes for P-Mags and Primary Alternator d. Install spark plugs and spark plug wires e. Set engine timing f. Install Oil filler tube g. Safety tie carb bolts 9) Brakes a. Add brake fluid, bleed and test brakes
10) Canopy a. Cut and drill new canopy b. Windshield glare shield vinyl install & GPS mounts c. Fiberglass Windscreen fairing
