Brief Description:  Installed left cowling pin and cowl epoxy

Manged to get the left side cowl pin into place and drilled the hole for the platenut. Before taking everytning apart to install the platenut, I mixed up some stiff epoxy fairing mix and smoothed out the outside edges where the top and bottom cowling meet. There was about 1/8" difference on the right side with the left side being a bit better. Covered with peel ply and left overnight to cure.

Sunday morning I sanded down the epoxy and put a fairing skim coat filler on the top and sides of the cowling. I also filled in some minor areas from the work done the day before. The front of the cowling looks pretty good now. Before the day is out I will install the firewall top and bottom pins.
