Brief Description:  QB Wing assembly planning

Spent some time reviewing the QB wing sequence and put together a punch list of completion items. Decided to hold on any additional Fuselage construction as I am beginning the Canopy section and I want to wait until the summer to drill the canopy. In addition, finishing the Wings will let me move them to the basement for storage so that I have more room in the garage. Checking VAF, most builders take between 100 to 150 hours to complete the QB wing punchlist. Here are the major items for completiion, which should take me well into the summer timeframe:

Install wing conduit - Done
Install Wing bellcrank assembly, lube bushing on final assembly
Check torque for Fuel tank attach bolts
Fuel sender and pickup tube assembly
Fuel tank pressure test
Prime and install Aileron and Flap attach brackets
Prime and install Flap & Aileron Gap fairings
Attach Aeleron and Flaps, check alignment
Install Ductworks HID landing lights in each wing
Install Pitot mast bracket, tubing and wiring
Wingtip lens, Nav Strob lighting
Wingtip fairing platenut installation
Auto Pilot servo attach bracket
Dimple, Prime and install bottom wing skins.

Decisions needing to be made:
1) Lighting - Ductworks HID on the leading edges of the wing; Aero LED Nav/Strobe in the wingtips - ORDERED
2) Pitot system, Aileron Servo - TBD dependent on Avionics, defer until early summer.
