Made a metal drilling template and drilled #30 pilot holes on each rib on the right wing. I then enlarged to 3/4" with a step drill bit and then deburred with a scotchbrite pad.
Earier today, I surfed VAF and read a bunch of builder posts on how to best run the conduit through the ribs. I decided to take a different approach and cut a slit down the entire length of tubing so that I could squeeze it through the holes. Worked out well and the tubing colapsed upon itself through the hole and opened back up and sealed itself (see picture #3). I still have three more ribs to pilot and drill out that are the three outboard ribs that are under the under riveted skiins.
