Brief Description: Bearing Block and Hat Channel Modification.
The drawing do not show the interference between the C-622 Canopy Release Link and the F-697 Hat Channel. Here you can see the modification made to the Hat Channel. Also I took the time to install the 2 nut-plates on the Hat Channel.
Also notice the Drawings do not show the modification I had to make to the C-620 Bearing Block. See the top of the bearing block? There was interference between C-622 Canopy Release Link Attach Pin and the Bearing Block. You can see I had to cut the corners off the top of the bearing block. I actually milled these corners off using the lathe with milling attachment. This fabrication method was a bit over kill but I'm trying to gain experience with milling anything.
