Brief Description: Hinge Pin Interference bottoming out on Short Rib.
I have interference preventing the canopy hinge pin from bottoming out on the short F-745 Forward Fuselage Rib. The pin bottoms out on the flange of the F768 Sub Panel instead. If you look at the plans closely (image 3, pencil point) it shows the hinge pin reaching the web of the short rib instead of stopping at the sub panel flange.
So, I trimmed the F768 Sub Panel as indicated in image 3 to allow the pin to fit all the way to the short rib. I have not seen this addressed any other build log that I frequent?
