Brief Description: Initial drilling of the Canopy Frame Goose Neck.
Here is the critical drilling of the Canopy Frame goose neck. Taking your time and getting this right totally effects how the canopy frame will fit for ever more. Rush this step, get it wrong, and you’ll regret it for sure. Its a multiple step in getting these holes drilled.
First you blind drill through the canopy Frame hinge block just to mark them with a 1/4” drill. That's scary enough, but then you have to step up the hole size with out relocating the hole. Because of the odd shape of the Canopy Frame you can not use a drill press.
You can see, all said and done, that my holes are located slightly aft just like everyone else s. Very common problem but not an issue.
