Here is the problem with the flap center bearing block. Look close at the black dot. This is the location of the center of one of the holes where the bearing block attaches. Dang it, but the hole that will result from drilling through the bearing bock is too close to the web of under laying bulkhead and too close to the edge of the baggage floor. Not shown is the forward floor that also gets drilled. A platenut has to attach to the bulkhead underneath so it’s a larger #19 hole. I’ll remake the bearing block such that the hole is in a better location resulting in a better attach hole location. 8 bucks to replace.
