So, I have leading edge/ tank skin mis alaignment on th eleft wing. Seems to be 2 problems. The tank skin seems to pucker out between the screws when I tighten them down. And, the leading edge skin seems to be pushed in at rivet locations due to the rivet process. These 2 problems add up to a gap in 5 different locations along the top only. The right wing only has the gap shown in image 3.
The fix seems to be, drill out the leading edge rivets holding the joint plate, add a shim between the rib and joint plate. This will move both skis out, taking up the slak.
