Here is the left tank inboard bay showng the first interior rib.
It has the fuel gate on a hinge allowing fuel in but not out of this first bay. You see, this first bay has the fuel pickup flop tube.
This first bay also has the center rib hole blugged with 4 rivets. Not much point in having a hinged flood gate with a huge open hole in the center of the rib. I saw an email from VAN's that said to go ahead and blug it.
And, the flop tube bracket. This just keeps the flop tube from jamming in the corner of this bay.
