Brief Description:  Prepare to rivet fuel tank rib.

Here I show how I prep for riveting a tank rib. I have 2 stations set up. The first is on top of my tool box and is my Pro-Seal prep station. Here I mix 40 grams of Pro-Seal and then put most of it in 2 syringes. I like to use the syringes for applying Pro-Seal to rivet head and to add a bead of extra Pro-Seal at the Skin/Rib flange joint. I keep enough Pro-Seal in the cup to apply on the rib flange with a jombo popcicle stick flattened off.

My second station is mobil and has every thing I need to rivet the rib.
Can of M.E.K.
Screw Driver to open the can of M.E.K.
Cat Food can of M.E.K.ed rivets.
Large can holding my dedicated Pro-Seal gooped clecoes.
Gloves.
Cleco tool.
Napkins.
2 Bucking bars. Need the skinny one for rivets near stiffeners.
Can of Q-Tips if I need to swap off excess Pro-Seal from the shop head before I rivet. This keeps the bucking bar cleaner and in general keeps Pro-Seal from finding it's way somewhere else it shouldn't be.

Fun getting prepared. It's like getting ready for an operation.
