This little is thingie is 1/2" x 0.025 uluminum. Made from the bundle of scrap that comes with the tail section. It's riveted in the first bay of the fuel tank where the fuel pickup flop tube lives. The idea is that this guard will keep the flop tube from jamming and getting stuck in the corner of the bay. You can see clecoes holding one guard in place. I'm holding the guard that goes in the other tank.
