Brief Description: Drill upper seat back hinge F-637D
Moving on to the set back brace. It needs a hinge same as the seat back itself. It has a different rivet spacing from the seat back hinges. Again I used the drill press with a fence so that I only have to locate holes along the length.
Once the hinge is drilled, we can match drill the F-638 seat back brace through the hinge. Got to love this match drill idea. I do it when ever I can.
Hey, have you noticed these seat backs are not pre drilled? Kind of gives you an appreciation for what RV 6 builders had to deal with. I didn’t find not having pre punched holes a hassle. It’s kind of fun to locate all the holes and plan your work so that you match drill as much as possible.
