Brief Description: Floor Stiffeners - Drill aft end, Part 3.
Now for the aft end of the inner floor stiffener. Again, I avoided using the angle drill. I hate it. Piece of garbage, use at own risk, driller beware.
You can see in image 2 that I used the 12” bit to get the aft hole. I had to chuck it up after putting it through the opposite side bracket. I little weird and I had to put a leather glove on to hold the center of the bit parallel with the hole. Not shown, I actually put a small piece of wood behind the bit to hole it parallel. Worked well. So far I’m still glad I’m doing it my way.
