Brief Description: Step -Cut holes in fuselage side skin.
My bro Steve turned me onto these hole cutters from Low's. Bottom line is, I love them. Easy and controlled. Not like a fly cutter.
I cut these holes to a diameter of 1 5/8, 1/8” larger then the step tube. Why? Because the hole has to be big enough to except the weld bead between the tube and plate.
These Low’s hole cutters are really great. I imagine I’ll have many different diameters by the time I’m done with this project.
