Brief Description: Shape Tail Cone, Fit 712 bulkhead.
The tail cone bend does not at all fit the 711 and 712 bulkhead profiles. The tail cone is under bent. I again used the method of clamping the tail cone edge on the table and tried to curl the edges inward to match the bulkheads. It worked. The bulkheads fit much better in the tail cone.
The bulkheads didn't seem to fit far enough down into the tail cone. Really hard to line up the pre punched holes. I simular problem was with the wing leading edge ribs not fitting far enough into the leding edge skins. So, I used the Scotch Brite wheel to round off the bottom mini flages just a bit. Much better fit now. Holes line up better.
